  6. 1..The ball going thru Buckners legs. 2..Hank's 715th, i saw it live on TV. 3..Dick (Richie) Allen's 3 home runs at Comiskey Park way back when. I can still remember the clang off the upper deck facade on the 3rd one. I was there that night. Man that guy could hit a baseball !!! 4..The White Sox winning game 2 of the World Series. Podsednik's walkoff homerun. Go figure!! 5..Seeing Mark Buehrle's no hitter at the Cell this year. I was there. Crede makes a terrific play at third, and Mark picks off Sammy after walking him. It doesn't get any better than that. LOL at all the thumbs down here....These are personal memories people, not correct answers...!

He lived the dream every kid has in their backyard 4)Cal Ripken's all-star homerun in Seattle (I was there and told my wife how cool it would be if he homered right there. Thanks to Chan Ho for the fastball down the middle) 3)Gibson's WS HR, just awesome 2)Mookie Wilson/Bill Buckner, Enough said 1)Edgar Martinez two run double to score Griffey from first in the 95 Division. (I was there and it is probably one of the single most exciting things I have seen in my life)

("Memorable" isn't synonymous with "happy".) 4. Luis Gonzalez poking one over Jeter, 04-November-2001. 5. Brunansky snaring Guillen's liner in the right field corner, 03-October-1990. Many others -- Gibson, McGwire poking #62 (the big moment, and he taps his teeniest dinger of the season), Ripken, Nixon alllllmost making the 1991 Series last one more play, Ortiz being heroic late, late, late in the nights of mid-October 2004, Nixon (another one) taking Clemens yard in the ninth to give Pedro a victory in da Bronx, Canseco utterly clobbering one in Texas to give him three on the night, 18 innings (I was there) on another Arlington evening... God I love baseball.

  26. Mine personally: 1: The Phillies/Astros LCS in 1980 with the Phillies coming back and winning game 5 to go to the Series for the first time in 30 years. This was bar none the greatest LCS in history. 2: Pete Rose catching a foul pop-up as it popped out of Bob Boone's glove for the 2nd out in the 9th inning of game 6 of the 1980 World Series. After that Tug McGraw strikes out Willie Wilson to give the Phils their one and only World Series championship. 3: The Phillies beating the Cubs 23-22 on a windy summer afternoon at Wrigley. 4: The Phillies beating the Mets 26-7 as Von Hays hits 2 home runs, including a grand slam, in the 1st inning. 5: Mike Schmidt hitting home run #500.

Juan Uribe making a good play for a change and making that final out in the 2005 World Series. 7. A.J. Pierzynski running to first after the dropped third strike against the Angels in the 2005 playoffs. 8. Old Cleveland Municipal Stadium and watching games there when I was 4. 9. Manny Ramierz dozing at first base in the 1997 Series and getting picked off by Ivan Rodriguez. 10. Being one of 3,000 people at Old Comiskey Park back in the late 80s and early 90s. 11. Andy Hawkins pitching a no-no for the Yankees in 1990 and losing to the White Sox. 12. Being present for Bat-gate, when Albert Belle had a clubhouse attendant for the Indians sneak through an air duct at Comiskey (the new one) to retrieve his corked bat. (I wasn't in the clubhouse, but I was at the game). (I'll give you one guess who my favorite team is)

The thrill of just watching Mickey Mantle play the game of baseball. 4. Greg Maddux winning his 300th game 5. First time I ever attended a ballgame at a Major League Park in St.Louis and watching Warren Spahn hit a grand slam homerun to beat the Cardinals!!!
